Complete Detail
Every vehicle is hand washed with a non detergent car soap. Bug, tar and road grime is cleaned and then exterior paint surface contaminants are removed with a clay bar. A carnauba wax or a high quality polymer paint sealant(add $25) is applied by hand. Paint sealant offers the longest lasting protection available. Vehicles that have scratches or paint dulling will be evaluated and discussed with the customer on a case by case basis. Windows, mirrors and glass surfaces are thoroughly cleaned inside and out. The entire vehicle is vacuumed, including the trunk, all mats and carpeting and upholstery are shampooed by hand or with a steam cleaner. Headliner scuff marks are cleaned. All leather is treated and conditioned with a specific leather protectort. Vinyl consoles, dashes, vents and door panels are meticulously cleaned. Door jams are wiped and dried. Rims are washed and brightened with a rim specific cleaner then tire dressing is applied. Any amount of pet hair may incur an added charge.
Polymer Paint Sealant
Paint sealants are very different from carnauba waxes. Carnauba car wax begins as a natural substance derived from a Brazilian tree leaf. In its pure form carnauba is an ideal automobile paint protectant. However, store bought carnauba wax is blended with so many other ingredients and has such a low degree of the actual wax that it usually offers only a short period of protection. Polymer based paint sealants are made in a laboratory where synthetic fibers are bound together in a liquid form. When applied correctly, a quality paint sealant provides a much more durable coating and can last up to 6 months longer than carnauba wax.
